What's This Workshop About?
Families, personalities, and larger organizations all form nested collective intelligences (call them "souls," maybe). These are mostly subconscious, mediated by hard-wired, neurological social-empathy systems. They operate constantly in our lives. "Nested" means the smaller exist within, and are shaped by the larger (like Russian dolls). If we say that trauma is the human reaction to acute or prolonged threats of overwhelm, then the truth is that each level is subject to trauma. And the disconnects left over from it cascade from level to level.
So you or your client may be suffering from after-effects of inherited, as opposed to personally experienced trauma. Or sometimes mixes of both. Leading edge researchers now attribute most chronic emotional and physical illnesses to past trauma. But whose? Yours, or your ancestors? This workshop will orient you to this important new understanding of trauma, and demonstrate ways in which similar, accessible, low-tech, somewhat DIY tools can heal chronic suffering of many kinds on all the levels. Who is it for?
Physical and emotional illnesses blend together because traumatic disconnects affect in the whole body. The workshop is a substantial introduction to the Family Energetics perspective, and a demonstration of its simple, effective tools. It is thus of value for alternative healers and healthcare professionals of many kinds. These include psychologists, counselors, coaches, social workers, body workers, nurses, open minded MD's, and acupuncturists. But it is also perfectly accessible to all intelligent people looking for progress in their own self healing.
Who is Teaching it?
Michael Reddy is a leading author, trainer, researcher, and healer who has synthesized this unified perspective. He has integrated both Energy Psychology (EFT, EMDR, etc) and Family Constellation work to create the Family Energetics toolkit that works on all the levels. In addition to these two modalities, he has had substantial training in Core Energy Coaching, and Indigenous Shamanism--which contribute to the mix. Learn more HERE.
